L.O.Vee (pronounced Love)my CupCakes was created by me ( Vashti Tate ) in July of 2011. I've always had a love and passion for food that I got from my parents. My dad was always the one in the kitchen creating wonderful meals from scratch, so luckily that carried over to me. I started baking cupcakes about 6 months ago, I would make them for family functions and to take to work for my co-workers to try. This was just a hobby at first until I couldn't stop thinking about them, I would come up with all these ideas of flavors and eventually became obsessed. My boyfriend told me I need to make them professionally because " I really have something special" so from that point on I would make a different flavors about 2 times a week and take them to work and get my co-workers feed back. They became a hit inside and outside of work so the decision was made that I would start a online cupcake business. Next up was finding a company name, based on watching countless episodes of Cupcake Wars I figured out that uniqueness is what's gonna set me apart from the rest. The name is pronounced Love my cupcakes but spelled with two E's. Having a name that was hard to pronounce was tough as a kid so my friends called me V, and I've always loved the way my boyfriend spells it ( Vee ). Everyone says they L.O.Vee my cupcakes so I hope you do too.
